Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in painting, wall covering, and finishing techniques required
  • Knowledge of painting tools, equipment, and safety procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
  • Must be able to bend, lift, stand, and move intermittently throughout the day

Responsibilities

  • Perform painting, patching, and wall covering for walls, ceilings, woodwork, furniture, and other surfaces
  • Prepare surfaces by washing, sanding, priming, and filling cracks/holes as needed to ensure proper finish and adhesion
  • Maintain all painting-related equipment and supplies to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation
  • Assist in coordinating painting projects and completing preventative maintenance assignments
  • Keep all work/storage areas clean, orderly, and hazard-free
  • Follow all safety standards, using appropriate protective equipment (PPE) for assigned tasks
  • Collaborate with the Director of Plant Operations and other team members to complete daily and project-based work assignments
