As a Painter, you will be responsible for mixing paints, matching colors, preparing surfaces, and applying paint to these surfaces. Painters may also perform touch-ups or coordinate large painting projects related to the construction industry.
Requirements
- Ability to lift 50lbs., bend, squat, kneel and or stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be comfortable working outside in all weather conditions.
- Able to follow all safety procedures.
Nice To Haves
- Experience painting a plus
- Previous work experience in a manufacturing company a plus
- Bilingual a plus
- Applying paints and other finishes to various surfaces
Responsibilities
- Preparing painting surfaces by means of air or wiping with solvent, removing old paint.
- Applying paints and other finishes to various surfaces
- Preparing the surrounding area by covering with cloth or plastic to prevent messes
- Taping off areas as needed
- Any other duties assigned
