About The Position

Austin Industrial is currently seeking a Painter to join our staff located at Pasadena, TX. They must be able to ensure all painting needs are conducted in a safe, efficient, accurate, and timely manner. Other duties may be assigned. Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for the safe preparation and painting of parts and equipment. Paint products using appropriate skills including, but not limited to, brush, roller, and spray equipment. Use safe working practices as directed. Perform assigned tasks under the direction of Manager or their designate and participates as an effective crewmember. Bring technical problems encountered to the Manager or their designate for resolution. Work to improve efficiency to achieve productivity and delivery goals. Organize and maintain personal and company tools, equipment, and work area in a professional manner. Responsible to follow all applicable company and corporate policies, procedures and programs, including but not limited to the process map, support processes, safety and environmental requirements. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Experience - 5 years of Journeyman level experience.

Requirements

  • 5 years of Journeyman level experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid NCCER preferred not required
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Valid TWIC card
  • Meet physical demands as listed above
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed by the assigned location
  • Ability to operate power tools and heavy equipment
  • Applicants must be legally able to work for ANY employer in the United States.
