About The Position

The Omaha Recon Center (ORC), part of the H+H Group, is expanding its team by adding a Painter/Small Body Cosmetic Repair Technician, also referred to as an Appearance Technician. This role is based in a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility located in the Steel Ridge Auto Mall. The position is a Flag Hour role, focusing on repairing and painting/blending small cosmetic, non-collision body damages such as scraped or cracked bumpers, trim, and mirrors, to meet reconditioning standards. The ideal candidate will possess a quality mindset and thrive in a fast-paced environment alongside other Appearance Technicians. The pay starts at $50,000+ annually, based on experience. Requirements

Similar experience required.
The ability to read, comprehend information, and perform calculations via paint mixing software.
The ability to access, input, and retrieve information from the computer.
Perform bending, pushing, climbing, leaning, twisting, reaching, kneeling, crouching, and other maneuvers associated with the position.
Operate a motor vehicle cautiously and safely.
Lift/move items up to 100 lbs.
Operate motor vehicles with manual and automatic transmissions.
Operate necessary equipment, both manual, and power driven in a safe manner.

Responsibilities

Repair and paint/blend small cosmetic non collision body damages such as scraped/cracked bumpers, trim, mirrors, side skirts, etc.
Wet sand and buff/polish.
Repair and repaint damaged wheels.
Touch up small cosmetic damages/blemishes with touch up paint.
Complete other miscellaneous cosmetic jobs.
Perform work as safely and efficiently as possible.
