Job Summary The Painter is responsible is to maintain the building structures at Woods Services campus by proper applications of paints, varnishes, stains and all other protective coatings. About Woods Services Woods Services is a Pennsylvania and New Jersey-based non-profit population health network and advocacy organization that along with its six affiliate organizations provides life-long innovative, comprehensive and integrated health, education, housing, workforce, behavioral health and case management services to more than 22,000 children and adults in the intellectual and developmental disability, child welfare, behavioral and brain trauma public health sectors who have complex and intensive medical and behavioral healthcare needs. Our Langhorne campus is home to 550 residents, and provides outpatient and day programs.

Requirements

High School Diploma, Technical School Graduate and valid driver’s license.
Minimum of three years working the painting trades.
Excellent physical condition and the ability to climb and lift.
Minimum requirement to lift 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

Follow verbal and written instructions
Prepare areas for paint application by the movement of furniture, materials, supplies, etc.
Cover all areas not to be painted with drop cloths, masking tape, etc.
Prepare surface for painting through patching, sanding, scraping
Apply coatings through roller, spray and brush applications
Performs standby duties as needed
Performs any and all work in any of the Operations Departments as needed
