POSITION SUMMARY: The Painter II will be responsible for the preparation and application of primer and finish coatings on transit buses. This role requires a thorough understanding of paint application processes, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment. The ideal candidate will work under the guidance of more senior staff to develop their skills further and will ensure that all work adheres to safety and quality standards.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; certification in painting or related field is a plus.
Previous experience in automotive or industrial painting preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to differentiate color shades.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks related to the position.
Willingness to work in a dynamic production environment and adhere to safety regulations
