About The Position
The painter will be responsible for directing spray onto work surfaces along with applying primer or a finish coating at even rate and maintaining appropriate thickness. The industrial painter will spray surfaces of manufactured products with protective material such as enamel or epoxy. The industrial painter will work independently and will have a strong focus to meet production goals by collaborating as a team. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
Responsibilities
- Turning sprayer valves and nozzles to regulate width and pressure of spray
- Directs spray onto work surfaces to apply prime or finish coat by applying at even rates and maintaining appropriate mill thickness of primer/paint
- Maintains the paint room while following the company safety policies
- Operate the Shot Blaster to clean structure steel according to specified safety requirements
- Tracks paint usage for VOC tracking reports
- Preps material to be painted with cleaning solvent or caulk
