About The Position

Southeast Orthopedic Specialists is seeking a detail-oriented PRN Painter to support our Jacksonville and St. Augustine locations. In this hands-on role, you'll help maintain the professional appearance and safety of our clinics through painting, surface preparation, touch-ups, and minor maintenance repairs as needed. As a PRN Painter, you'll play a vital role in keeping our facilities well-maintained and visually appealing. You'll complete scheduled painting projects, assist with minor repairs, and ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED preferred
• 1-2 years of commercial or residential painting experience
• Valid driver's license & ability to pass a motor vehicle record check
• Knowledge: Paint types, surface preparation, finishing techniques, and general building maintenance
• Skills: Precision in painting and detail work
• Strong communication with Facilities team and clinic staff
• Ability to manage multiple work orders and timelines
• Abilities: Work independently and efficiently on an as-needed basis
• Lift/move up to 50 lbs and perform physical work in varying conditions

Responsibilities

• Perform painting, touch-ups, and surface preparation for interior and exterior areas across clinics and headquarters
• Repair and refinish walls, trim, doors, and other surfaces as needed
• Assist with general maintenance and preventative upkeep of furniture, fixtures, and equipment
• Maintain painting supplies, tools, and inventory; ensure materials are stored safely
• Conduct walkthroughs to identify needed touch-ups or repairs
• Assist Facilities Manager with special projects, remodels, and vendor coordination
• Respond to maintenance work orders as assigned
