About The Position

We are seeking a Team Leader to lead our 1st shift paint operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate success in powder coating and manufacturing operations while leading a team. This role will be responsible for leading efficient manufacturing practices and most importantly, the candidate will be accountable for delivering Safety, Quality, Delivery & Cost throughout the department.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of Supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management in both written and oral formats.
• Self-directed and motivated to accomplish tasks for the company.
• Detail oriented

Responsibilities

• Enforce all company procedures / work standards.
• Make sure team members are producing at company standards and that they are following company procedures.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Make sure all team members are trained to effectively perform their job duties.
• Develop and train back up team members for key jobs.
• Assist in building teams and promoting teamwork.
• Ensure all safety rules are being followed; confirms all accidents are investigated and reported properly.
• Open communication with all departments concerning quality, manpower, equipment, production needs and material concerns.
• Ensure all 5S and housekeeping requirements are being followed.
