About The Position

Are you detail-oriented, hands-on, and passionate about producing high-quality finishes? Murphy Bros Design|Build|Remodel is on a 43 yearlong mission to make life better for our homeowners, not just different, and we are looking for a Finish Shop Technician to join our growing team.

As a Finish Shop Technician, you will inspect and prepare surfaces for finishing by sanding, cleaning, and repairing imperfections, ensuring a smooth and even base for the application of coatings.

Requirements

• Proficient in prepping cabinets and other wood products
• Knowledgeable of various finishing techniques
• Familiar with different types of finishing products including paints, stains, varnishes, and other coatings
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality
• Able to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy equipment and working in various positions for extended periods of time
• Understanding of safety protocols and procedures when handling chemicals and finishing materials

Responsibilities
