About The Position

The Paint Prep/Wash/Caulking role involves preparing products for painting by washing, masking, sanding, and caulking according to instructions. The position also includes moving the product to the paint booth and removing tape and paper after the product is dry. The Paint Prepper is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work area. A successful candidate should be self-motivated, able to multi-task, and possess a strong work ethic to ensure all painting quality levels are met. The role may require working overtime, including extended hours and weekends, as needed to meet business demands. Other job-related duties may be assigned by management.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age
• Able to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs regularly
• Frequently bending, stooping, kneeling and/or standing
• Must wear ASTM 2413 Steel-Toe/Composite-Toe footwear, ear plugs, safety glasses, goggles, masks with protective lenses, and any other required equipment to prevent burns, eye injuries, and injury from falling objects

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or G.E.D Equivalent
• Technical education courses, post secondary institutions, such as vocational and technical institutes, community colleges, and/or training through the U.S. Armed Forces

Responsibilities

• Prepare the product for painting by washing, masking, sanding and caulking product per instructions
• Move the product to the paint booth
• Remove all tape and paper after the product is completely dry
• Maintain a clean and safe area
• Work overtime as needed, including extended hours and weekends
• Follow other job-related instructions and perform other job-related duties from time to time if requested by management
