About The Position
Paint Prep Technician Position Summary The Paint Prep Technician is responsible for preparing parts and whole goods for paint application while maintaining quality standards, efficiency, and safety within the paint department. This position supports the Paint Team by ensuring proper preparation, cleanliness, and organization to produce a high-quality finished product. Responsibilities
- Prepare parts and whole goods for paint application
- Apply proper thickness of paint to maintain expected quality finish
- Prime, paint, and apply GatorHyde in the paint booth as needed
- Blow off paint carts prior to painting
- Prep flatbeds for GatorHyde application
- Apply GatorHyde to flatbeds
- Clean and maintain paint guns daily
- Assist with routine filter changes
- Maintain paint kitchen responsibilities
- Wash carts in the wash bay
- Assist with loading and unloading parts on paint carts
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Perform other duties as assigned
