Paint Parts Prepper/Masker

We are currently looking for a 2nd Shift Parts Prepper to join the paint department at our Roseville, MN location. Please note that if this position is located in our Roseville, MN facility, it may be subject to export control regulation. Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Perform basic math calculations.
- Possess strong attention to detail.
- Must be able to use hands to position parts in place.
- Bend and lift, loading and unloading work pieces onto pallets, and move from one workstation to another, alternately sitting and standing.
- Lift objects up to 50 pounds throughout the day.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working in a paint shop is a plus.
- Forklift experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Visually inspect metal parts for previous damage.
- Visually inspect parts and paperwork to ensure prior steps are complete.
- Clean, mask, plug, and fixture components prior to paint and powder coat application.
- Work with others to prep parts properly.
- Maintain equipment and keep the work area in order.
- Operate batch ovens according to work order specifications.
- Inspect parts after the coating is complete.
- Unmask, unplug, and package components as needed.
- Complete all paperwork accordingly.
