About The Position
Lake Air Products is a fast-growing company proud to live by our Core Values, Customer Focus, Passion for Performance, and Right People-Best Teams. We are currently looking for a 1st and 2nd Shift Parts Prepper to join the paint department at our Little Chute, Wi location.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Perform basic math calculations.
- Must be able to use hands to position parts in place.
- Bend and lift, loading and unloading work pieces onto pallets, and move from one workstation to another, alternately sitting and standing.
- Lift objects up to 50 pounds above head throughout the day.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working in a paint shop is a plus.
- Forklift experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Visually inspect metal parts for previous damage.
- Visually inspect parts and paperwork to ensure prior steps are complete.
- Clean, mask, plug, and fixture components prior to paint and powder coat application.
- Work with others to prep parts properly.
- Maintain equipment and keep the work area in order.
- Operate batch ovens according to work order specifications.
- Inspect parts after the coating is complete.
- Unmask, unplug, and package components as needed.
- Complete all paperwork accordingly.
