About The Position

Our Paint Line -Parts Handlers are an integral part of the American Products team. They are responsible for ensuring our parts are handled correctly coming off the powder paint line. A Parts Handler will be assigned to a part of the line, but may switch stations in the assembly process at manager or supervisor designation or request.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED strongly preferred; not required
Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, shop floor documentation, customer specifications/diagrams, instructions provided by supervisors/managers.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Requires the interpersonal skills to interact and collaborate with wide variety of internal personnel.
Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot
Must be able to interact professionally, appropriately, and courteously with customers, co-workers and other outside parties.
Excellent attention to detail;
Shows concern for quality and practices continuous improvement;
The employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch; talk, hear, and smell.
The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and depth perception.
