Paint Line Operator 1st Shift 7am-3:30pm $18.11/hr
About The Position
As a Paint Line Operator, you’ll be part of our Shelbyville Manufacturing team working as an on-site employee. You’ll get to: Loads and unload blades at a productive rate, maintaining quality levels according to control plans, and using safe work ethics (PPE, MSDS and machine hazards). Visual quality inspection of each saw blade. Accurate updating of all move tags and piece counts. Responsible for identifying and communicating possible problems which may be perceived. Report any abnormal situations, including crashes, incorrect set-up, incorrect move tags or incorrect control plans. Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment. Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Basic knowledge of tolerance and quality inspection procedures
- Excellent hand-eye coordination in a fast-paced environment
- Reading control plans in English.
- Processing and recording data
- Ability to read and write English; understand and comprehend instructions for safety and quality
- Flexibility to work overtime
