Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
1+ years of prior work experience in related field
Basic computer knowledge (Windows, email, internet, etc.)
Written and verbal communication, math, reading, and spelling skills -OR- An acceptable combination of education and experience

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with HVLP and/or electrostatic guns, pressure pots, and proportioners is a plus.

Responsibilities

Application of paint products in accordance with customer and QMS specifications/requirements.
Follow and understand standard work, training guides, procedures, and acceptance criteria to meet customer requirements.
Able to use paint spray equipment, sanding equipment, and various hand tools.
Maintain and clean spray guns and related equipment.
Follow and understand build boards and Kanban system requirements.
Report inconsistencies and/or defects in material, product or equipment.
Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in collaborative manner with customers, suppliers, co-workers, and management.
Helps company meet its Strategic, Quality and Safety objectives.
Other duties may be assigned.
Demonstrate excellent customer service and display a positive attitude and behavior consistent with the Steffes Code of Conduct and Core Values.
