About The Position

The paint booth cleaner will perform routine cleaning of the paint booths. General activity includes janitorial activities, lifting, water blasting, preventative maintenance of cleaning equipment, inspection of waste storage areas and documentation as required.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Possesses the ability to gather and analyze information and make decisions from a limited number of choices.
  • A minimum score of 50 on the Wonderlic Select Assessment (Traditional score of 16 on the Cognitive portion).
  • Agreement to complete all post-hire required training.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for working in general maintenance of the of the spray booths and clean-up spray
  • Use industrial cleaners to clean up paint booths
  • Change/replace various filters throughout paint booths
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, and rules.
  • Using solvents and manual scraping/chipping to clean walls, hoses, windows, grates, lights.
  • Vacuums and wipes interior and exterior of equipment.
  • Performs other specialized paint booth cleaning jobs as required.
  • Performs special projects and other tasks as directed.
