Teamwork guides us to engage and sustain long-term relationships with our employees and customers. We are currently seeking Paint Booth Cleaners/Laborers for our GM Lansing Grand River location!

Requirements

Must have a valid driver’s license
Previous experience working in an industrial environment is an asset
Must be able to perform all functions, including lifting up to 50 lbs
Must be able to perform repetitive and physically demanding tasks (bending/lifting)
Must be available on weekends and for overtime as required
Ability to work independently and as an effective team member
Ability to commute to the GM Lansing Delta Township site location for work

Nice To Haves

Previous experience working in an industrial environment is an asset

Responsibilities

Provide services in industrial cleaning within the facility paint booths to clean walls, floors, grates, conveyor lines, machinery, robotics, and equipment (training provided)
Work occasionally in confined spaces and from heights (ladder - 10 ft.) to provide cleaning services
Perform heavy lifting up to 50lbs for moving supplies, materials, and equipment
Wear proper PPE including retrieval harnesses, steel toe footwear, safety glasses, protective gloves, etc.
Perform repetitive tasks including lifting heavy objects, bending, prolonged standing, prolonged walking, and using blasting equipment
Follow all instructions and all safety policies, practices, and protocols
Other duties as assigned.
