About The Position

The Paid Search Strategist is a mid-level role within 829’s Paid Advertising department. In this role, you will drive the strategy and development of digital advertising campaigns for various medium-to-large clients. This position is ideal for someone who is proactive, a great communicator, analytical, and willing to go the extra mile to get your work completed at a high level. You’ll manage a portfolio of clients, executing campaigns and coordinating with colleagues across marketing disciplines to drive collective success. Requirements

  • 4+ years managing paid advertising programs.
  • Thorough understanding of various paid advertising tool sets such as Google Ads and Facebook Ads.
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets, Google Slides, and Google Docs.
  • Deep understanding of analytics tools such as Google Analytics (GA4), Hubspot Analytics, or similar.
  • Understanding of landing page best practices and optimization techniques.
  • Experience with project management tools such as ClickUp, Asana, or Monday.com.
  • Experience with pixeling and conversion tracking via Google Tag Manager or other means.
  • Experience with reporting tools such as Google Data Studio, NinjaCat, TapClicks, or similar.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Exceptional time management and organization skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Experience juggling multiple projects and paid advertising campaigns simultaneously.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with WordPress or a similar CMS
  • Bing Ads certification(s)
  • Programmatic experience
  • Experience training and mentoring more junior team members

Responsibilities

  • Strategize, develop, and simultaneously maintain multiple digital advertising campaigns for a portfolio of medium-to-enterprise sized businesses.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of campaigns as they relate to client goals, conversions, and events.
  • Update clients regularly as to the status of their digital initiatives.
  • Prepare client deliverables from project kickoff documents to rolling reporting.
  • Advise clients on how to best accomplish their business goals through digital advertising.
  • Serve as a technical resource to other departments, committees, and your peers.
