The Services External Marketing Group at Apple is responsible for driving new customer acquisition as well as cultivating awareness of Apple’s services and accompanying content, through a variety external marketing channels. We are in search of an experienced Paid Search Specialist to join our in-house activation team to work across a new Services line of business, Creator Studio.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree required
  • 4+ years of proven experience in a Paid Search marketing role, either agency or client-side with recent hands-on-keyboard experience
  • Expert knowledge of paid search self-service platforms (i.e. Google Ads, and Microsoft Ad Center
  • Intermediate experience with bid management platforms I.e. SA360, Skai/Kenshoo, Marin
  • A solid understanding of the principles of PPC campaigns and its optimization levers and interpreting results to key stakeholders
  • Strong visualization skills via Keynote or PPT; understanding of how to tailor communications to stakeholders with various levels of digital media literacy
  • Ability to build close relationships within and across teams with excellent social, oral, and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with SEO principles and other digital media channels like Google Demand Gen and paid social
  • Understanding of marketing attribution & alternative measurement methodologies
  • Knowledge of SEM competitive insight tools I.e. Adthena, SEMRush, Profound
  • Google Ads Certification

Responsibilities

  • Planning, building, and managing paid search PPC (pay-per-click) campaigns in self-service SEM platforms (Google, Bing, and other search engines)
  • Campaign planning and setup in platform, you will be tasked with continually finding ways to improve performance efficiency through ongoing optimization
  • In depth analysis leading to actionable insights, trend spotting, strategic pacing, and performance optimization of the paid search channel
  • Working hand-in-hand with digital marketing strategy, ad ops, analytics, and measurement teams to deliver end-to-end execution and performance management of paid search campaigns
  • Defining and measuring short and long-term marketing success across paid search and have a strong passion for data storytelling
