What You Will Be Doing: The Paid Media Strategist is responsible for developing and executing advanced paid search and performance marketing strategies across a wide range of platforms, including Google Ads, Bing Ads, Meta Ads (Facebook, Instagram), TikTok Ads, YouTube Ads, Amazon Ads, and programmatic platforms. This role ensures campaigns are tailored to client objectives, regional market demands, and industry trends. The Paid Media Strategist leverages cutting-edge tools, AI-driven technologies, and platform-specific expertise to optimize performance and drive measurable results while collaborating closely with internal teams to support client retention and satisfaction. Reporting directly to the Sr. Paid Media Strategist, this role requires a strategic and consultative approach, working with clients across the globe. The strategist must be adaptable to accommodate different time zones.

Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of paid media platforms, including Google Ads, Bing Ads, Meta Ads (Facebook, Instagram), YouTube Ads, TikTok Ads, Amazon Ads, and programmatic platforms (e.g., DV360, The Trade Desk, stackadapt).
  • Familiarity with regional platforms such as WeChat Ads, LINE, and KakaoTalk for APAC markets.
  • Expertise in AI-driven tools for bid management, audience segmentation, and performance optimization.
  • Advanced analytical skills for interpreting performance metrics and generating actionable insights.
  • Proven expertise in A/B testing, audience segmentation, and campaign scaling
  • Strong communication skills for presenting strategies and results to stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments, ensuring cohesive and integrated campaigns
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Data Science, or related field
  • 6-8 years of experience managing Paid campaigns across multiple platforms, including search, social, display, and video advertising.
  • Proven success in integrating Meta Ads, Amazon Ads, YouTube Ads, and regional platforms into comprehensive paid media strategies
  • Certifications in Google Ads (Search, Display, Shopping) and Meta Ads (Facebook Blueprint) are required.
  • Additional certifications in Bing Ads and programmatic platforms are highly desirable

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with programmatic platforms, including DV360 and The Trade Desk.
  • Familiarity with video advertising on YouTube, TikTok, and other video-centric platforms.
  • Understanding of APAC-specific platforms and their unique advertising ecosystems (e.g., WeChat Ads, LINE, KakaoTalk).
  • Knowledge of dynamic search ad strategies and their application in multi-channel campaigns

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement advanced Paid Media strategies across platforms such as Google Ads, Bing Ads, Meta Ads (Facebook, Instagram), TikTok Ads, YouTube Ads, and Amazon Ads.
  • Customize campaigns for regional platforms, including WeChat Ads, LINE, and KakaoTalk, ensuring alignment with local market requirements.
  • Integrate programmatic advertising platforms like Stackadapt, DV360 and The Trade Desk to expand reach and enhance audience targeting.
  • Utilize AI-driven tools for predictive analytics, automated bidding, and creative optimization
  • Work closely with the entire Paid Media/PPC Team to align efforts with global strategies and broader campaign objectives as well as best practices.
  • Partner with Data Analyst to continoulsy improve how we visualize data to internal/external stakeholders in order to derive actionable insights from performance data, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate and/or manage Paid Media Specialists internal/external to ensure scalability/consistency.
  • Expand collaboration to cross-channel teams to ensure alignment between Paid, Organic & Content strategies
  • Conduct detailed performance audits across platforms to identify opportunities for scalability and optimization.
  • Use advanced analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Looker Studio, TikTok Ads Manager, Meta Ads Manager, Amazon Advertising Console) to track and optimize campaign performance.
  • Execute A/B testing strategies for ad copy, keywords, bidding, and landing pages to drive incremental improvements
  • Stay updated on platform developments and emerging trends, including new features in Performance Max, Shopping Campaigns, and regional platforms.
  • Experiment with video ad formats on platforms such as YouTube and TikTok, incorporating best practices for video marketing.
  • Support the implementation/creation of AI supported/enabled workflows to drive efficiencies and reduce time on recurring tasks such as Paid Media Ad Copy Creation, Analytics, Briefing etc.
  • Identify and test new opportunities in programmatic advertising and dynamic search capabilities
