About The Position

This opportunity is to join a multi-specialty Ambulatory Surgery Center as a per diem PACU Pre/Post Op RN. The role involves providing safe, effective, and individualized care to surgical patients across various specialties, utilizing the nursing process and collaborating with the care team throughout the preoperative and postoperative experience. Vancouver Clinic is the largest multi-specialty clinic in Southwest Washington, a physician-owned group focused on excellent patient care. The clinic provides care across a wide range of medical decisions, including vaccinations, reproductive health, end-of-life decision-making, and gender-affirming treatment. The ability to work with a diverse patient population and colleagues is an essential function. The clinic has several locations in Clark County, Washington, an area known for its schools, neighborhoods, restaurants, and recreational opportunities, with Portland, Oregon, nearby. Requirements

  • Active unencumbered Washington RN license and/or meeting the requirements of multi-state licensure required
  • Basic Life Support for Health Care Provider certification required
  • ACLS, and PALS required or must be obtained within 60 days of hire

Nice To Haves

  • Experience as an operating room nurse, circulating and scrub preferred
  • Perioperative nursing experience

Responsibilities

  • Use the nursing process and collaborate closely with the care team to deliver high-quality patient care throughout the preoperative and postoperative experience
