About The Position
Job Purpose: - Help out in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at Maine Eye Center PA. Make sure patients are comfy and safe after their eye surgeries.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Basic understanding of patient care
- Friendly and helpful attitude
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a healthcare setting is a plus
- Familiarity with patient care or support roles preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist nurses with patient care tasks.
- Help patients get settled in their beds.
- Keep the PACU area tidy and organized.
- Chat with patients to keep them calm and informed.
- Report any patient concerns to the nursing staff.
- Restock supplies as needed.
