Salary range: $23.00 to $29.00 an hour. Starting wage will be dependent on experience level. Shop hours are Monday - Thursday 5:00 am to 3:30 pm. JOB FUNCTION: Assists in providing work direction and training of employees, adds organizational and visual control improvements, and according to workload analysis helps to perform any combination of tasks. QUALIFICATIONS: Education / Experience High School diploma or general education degree (GED) Two years of work experience in an applicable area: packaging, shipping, light assembly Experience as a leader or organizer of people or tasks Specific Job Knowledge Assists supervisor Demonstrated leadership qualities and the ability to communicate effectively. Ability to learn job tasks in the department alongside of the team DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: Duties Receive, carry out, and communicate to co-workers, assignments from immediate or acting supervisor. Assure production schedule is met and collaborate on creative solutions. Inventory parts regularly, reporting any shortages to supervisor. When required, help to package products. Read and interpret standard label drawings. Equipment Used Hand tools Hand power tools Pallet trucks Stud gun Responsibility Assign and communicate work direction from supervisor. System reporting for job completion and work times Follow all safety rules; including using all recommended personal protection equipment. Perform in-process and finished production inspection. Give input to and improve packaging procedures. Regular attendance and punctuality. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Mathematical Skills Ability to add and subtract using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to read and interpret a tape measure. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Requirements

High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
Two years of work experience in an applicable area: packaging, shipping, light assembly
Experience as a leader or organizer of people or tasks
