About The Position

Position Summary We are seeking a dependable, organized, and proactive Packing Lead to oversee daily packing operations and support the production team. In this role, you will supervise Packing Associates, ensure accuracy and quality of finished goods, and help maintain workflow in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate combines hands-on packaging experience with leadership skills and a commitment to operational excellence.

Requirements

Previous experience in a packaging, production, fulfillment, or manufacturing environment required, supervisory or lead experience required.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production setting.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

Forklift experience and/or certification a plus.
Positive attitude with a solutions-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate packing activities to meet production schedules and quality standards.
Train, mentor, and support Packing Associates to ensure consistent performance.
Review job tickets, packing specifications, and verify correct materials.
Inspect finished products for quality and prepare them for shipment.
Maintain an organized and efficient packing area, enforcing safety procedures.
Communicate production priorities and changes to the team.
Work cross-functionally with Production, Shipping, and Quality teams.
Identify process improvements and assist with continuous improvement initiatives.
Perform packing tasks as needed during peak workloads.
