Overview Safely operate equipment used in the packaging of finished products while supporting Operators, Crew Leaders, Lead Operators, Contract Formulators, Site Support Services, and Material Handlers to ensure efficient and safe production operations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Employee must be able to read and write English fluently in order to fulfill job requirements and complete daily process documentation accurately.

Responsibilities

  • Operate equipment involved in the packaging of finished products according to established procedures.
  • Obtain or assemble containers; clean, label, fill, seal, palletize, and stretch-wrap finished goods.
  • Complete all required documentation and production records accurately.
  • Assist with the startup and shutdown of production operations alongside Operators, Crew Leaders, Lead Operators, Contract Formulators, Site Support Services, and Material Handlers.
  • Report operational issues, equipment concerns, and downtime to supervision in a timely manner.
  • Maintain plant cleanliness by cleaning production areas as directed by supervision.
  • Remove snow from building entrances, roofs, and areas around railroad switches and firehouses when required.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures at all times.
  • Attend required safety meetings and training sessions.
  • Immediately report unsafe conditions to supervision.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition.
  • Review and understand safety materials such as Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) , Job Safety Analysis (JSA) , and Job Safety Information (JSI) .
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment and actively contribute to safety improvements.
  • Report any condition, no matter how minor, that could impact environmental controls.
  • Perform all duties in a manner that minimizes waste and supports environmental compliance.
