About The Position

The Warehouse Staff is responsible for efficiently and accurately fulfilling customer orders by picking items from inventory, packing them securely, and ensuring timely shipment. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operations of the warehouse and meeting customer satisfaction goals.

Experience with a cherry picker is a plus

Responsibilities

Utilize picking lists, invoices, and/or scanners to accurately locate and pick times from bins
Verify product codes, descriptions, and quantities to ensure accuracy in fulfilling orders
Organize picked items for packing in a systematic manner
Pack items securely and efficiently according to established guidelines, ensuring products are protected from damage during transit
Use appropriate packing materials, such as boxes, bubble wrap, and tap, to ensure the integrity of the shipment
Apply shipping labels and other required documentation accurately
Conduct visual inspections of items for any defects or damages before packing
Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory to the supervisor
Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by updating systems with quantities picked and packed
Notify the supervisor of low stock levels and participate in periodic cycle counts as needed
Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment
Follow company policies and procedures related to security, accuracy, and compliance with shipping regulations
Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to coordinate activities and resolve issues
Collaborate with other warehouse and purchasing associates to ensure a smooth workflow
Meet daily and weekly shipping targets to ensure timely delivery to customers
Coordinate with shipping carriers and logistics teams to schedule pickups and deliveries as needed
