About The Position
Typical Duties and Essential Responsibilities: 1. Pack hoses in cartons and close cartons. 2. Label/mark the sales order number, weight, and contents on each box. 3. Move filled cartons to proper shipping area. 4. Assemble boxes as instructed. 5. Inspect quality per standards. 6. Trim product per standards. 7. Responsible for safe work area, including prompt reporting of any safety hazards to the safety committee or supervisor. 8. Any other duties as assigned by supervisor. Quantifiable Measures: 1. Quantity and quality of product packed 2. Accuracy of orders processed 3. Completion of paperwork in proper manner 4. Attendance 5. Cleanliness/housekeeping 6. Safety Requirements Primary Responsibilities: 1. Responsible for the proper processing of customer orders and stock 2. Ensure top quality product of the correct description and in the correct quantity properly labeled, in the right size box with the correct paperwork 3. Keep area safe and clean Working Conditions: Manufacturing plant; will be required to wear personal protective equipment per policy and may be requested to work overtime per production schedule. Qualifications: 1. The ability to handle and lift hose on a routine basis. 2. The ability to read and write in English. 3. The ability to read a tape measure and use other tools required. 4. Physically able to lift 75 pounds regularly. Salary Description 14.00
