About The Position

Packer Summary This position is responsible for organizing, weighing and packing product according to process routing while also complying with Customer and Company safety and quality standards. Essential Duties: Operates weigh scales and packing equipment per quality standards Maintains highest excellence in part identification, packing according to process routing, and labeling Performs regular cleaning and maintenance on area and related equipment Upholds highest excellence in moving inventory in warehouse relative to PLEX Identifies partials to pack in complete quantities per customer requirements Works to consolidate like parts within warehouse inventory Alerts Supervisor of low inventory and/or parts in need of replacement Organizes stock inventory according to customer and packing requirements according to training Understands and complies with all safety requirements as related to designated machine(s) and/or area Communicates quality concerns of either product or related equipment to Supervisor Maintains the cleanliness and order of designated area(s) as to 5S standards Maintains the cleanliness and order of measuring devices used and communicates to quality any concerns Willing to receive instruction and work independently Performs related duties as assigned to support overall team effort

Requirements

  • Good general computer skills
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • No minimum manufacturing experience required

Nice To Haves

  • Warehouse experience a plus
  • Fork truck training preferred

  • Maintains highest excellence in part identification, packing according to process routing, and labeling
  • Performs regular cleaning and maintenance on area and related equipment

  • Identifies partials to pack in complete quantities per customer requirements
  • Works to consolidate like parts within warehouse inventory
  • Alerts Supervisor of low inventory and/or parts in need of replacement
  • Organizes stock inventory according to customer and packing requirements according to training
  • Understands and complies with all safety requirements as related to designated machine(s) and/or area
  • Communicates quality concerns of either product or related equipment to Supervisor
  • Maintains the cleanliness and order of designated area(s) as to 5S standards
  • Maintains the cleanliness and order of measuring devices used and communicates to quality any concerns
  • Willing to receive instruction and work independently
