Position Summary: This position will operate the machinery, form and pack cases, stack cases, and hand peel/rack off product when necessary.

Requirements

  • Ability and willingness to work overtime and/or weekends as needed
  • Ability and willingness to complete all paperwork and SAP functions.
  • The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • Must be willing and able to push/pull/lift with arms below waist/at shoulder/above shoulder level 20 pounds or greater frequently.
  • Must be willing and able to lift/lower/carry up to 20 pounds or greater with back and legs.
  • The Team Member will use rapid mental/muscular coordination simultaneously.
  • The Team Member will use both hands.
  • The Team Member will stand/walk/climb/bend for up to 10 hours.
  • The Team Member will flex/grip with wrist/hands frequently.
  • The Team Member will work in wet conditions and cold temperatures at 35 degrees.
  • The Team Member will distinguish between shades and/or colors

Responsibilities

  • Setup, tear down and proper operation of all the equipment in the department.
  • Pack and weight all products accurately.
  • Perform necessary weight and process checks.
  • Remove inedible and/or rework from the clean room vestibule and transport it to the inedible tank and dump it.
  • Empty film canisters.
  • Maintain the line performance boards.
  • Collect and process production samples and rework.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties in the department.
  • Maintain general manufacturing practices.
  • Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF requirements.
  • Perform all positions of job rotation as needed.
  • Perform any other work as assigned by management.
