About The Position

This position prepares and packages furniture products that ready for transport and delivery.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous packing experience a plus
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, bend, stoop, kneel, walk, stand, and climb on a daily basis
• Must be able to lift/move at least 100 pounds
• Must be able to pull and push
• Must be able to reach overhead
• Must be able to work in a noisy environment

Nice To Haves

• Previous packing experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Operates lift that will place unit on the support tray
• Pushes unit to conveyer, as appropriate
• Builds shipping cartons and inserts furniture into carton
• Uses shrink wrap gun and staple gun for packing the unit
• Scans and adds packing ticket to product
• Must follow all safety policies and procedures.
