About The Position

We are currently looking for a Packaging Tech/Shipping Assistant in our Warehouse area. This position is responsible for building boxes, assisting with shipping labels, and boxing turbo's for shipment or pickup by our customers. Job Duties Picks, packs, and processes outgoing shipments in a proficient, safe, and efficient manner Performs quality checks and inspection of items produced. Validate that paperwork is attached and matches the product as well as visual inspection of proper packaging to prevent damage Cycle counts, inventory inspection and material handling of turbochargers, including loading and unloading trucks. Maintains accurate inventory levels of product and packaging material Visual inspection to ensure proper labelling and shipments are going to the correct destination Organizes and prioritize workload, working with tight deadlines Data entry, processing, and reporting to Oracle systems High school diploma or GED equivalent Basic computer skills. Working knowledge of Excel and Outlook Must have the ability and willingness to work overtime on an as needed/required basis in order to complete work in process Completes other responsibilities as assigned to meet the needs of the business Basic math skills Good communication skills Attention to detail/visional oriented Ability to meet shipping deadlines

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Basic computer skills.
• Working knowledge of Excel and Outlook
• Must have the ability and willingness to work overtime on an as needed/required basis in order to complete work in process
• Basic math skills
• Good communication skills
• Attention to detail/visional oriented
• Ability to meet shipping deadlines
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds is required.

Responsibilities
