About The Position

We are seeking a reliable Packaging Specialist to operate equipment and ensure high-quality product output in a fast-paced environment. This role focuses on accuracy, machine efficiency, and maintaining a "Just In Time" workflow to meet customer requirements.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• This is primarily a standing position requiring great dexterity ; must be able to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent attendance and reliable/independent transportation are required.
• Strong math aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret measuring tools.
• Willingness to perform other tasks as assigned and improve setup/run times.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate packaging machinery, including adjusting heat, dwell, and cycle settings for blisters and cards.
• Perform visual inspections to ensure all parts are sealed tight with clear, readable printing.
• Pull Kanban cards at reorder points, mark boxes correctly, and enter production quantities into the system.
• Keep equipment clean and perform routine preventive maintenance on the blister line.
• Maintain a professional "can-do" attitude and communicate effectively with supervisors and press operators.
