About The Position

Saint Arnold is a small company, and this position will have many different responsibilities. The focus is to work and lead the packaging lines & workers. We are seeking a person with a strong mechanical aptitude.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Must be able to pick up and stack 35 lb cases for a sustained period.
• Must be able to pull hoses, bend down and clamp hoses under tanks and lift empty kegs above your head.
• Must be able to work standing for 8 continuous hours.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for knowing and understanding operation of all packaging equipment.
• Monitor the production schedule and plan the shift to meet the production needs.
• Assign responsibilities to employees.
• Verify product meets quality standards.
• Train and coach team members.
• Enforce safety standards and SOP protocols.
• Perform some minor preventative maintenance tasks.
• Assist packaging supervisor(s) & pack maintenance in major preventative maintenance.
• Review production schedule.
• Responsible for set up of a Filler and other machines, operation and clean up.
• Keep the package line running efficiently, maintaining proper levels of supplies to the proper machinery.
• Wrap pallets and prepare them for shipping.
• Keep packaging department extremely clean and sanitized.
• Make sure the team is keeping their machines clean.
• Prepare for a package run.
• Count material and make sure the proper amounts and type of material is ready.
• Accurately track and report supplies used, and beer packaged as required.
• Help with miscellaneous brewery tasks including maintaining building and grounds and other projects as they come up.
