About The Position

Cooperidge Consulting Firm is seeking a Packaging Sales Executive for a top Wholesale Packaging Distributor based in Dallas, TX. This is an expansion-driven role for a high-performing B2B sales representative with a "hunter" mentality. The Executive is responsible for locating, developing, and closing new business opportunities while conducting specialized packaging audits to deliver tailored, value-added solutions. This role is ideal for an industry professional who enjoys a consultative sales approach and is ready to leverage an existing book of business within a dynamic, supportive, and growth-oriented environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of B2B sales experience is REQUIRED.
  • Specific experience in the packaging industry (Retail, Display, or Manufacturing) is MANDATORY.
  • Proven track record of locating, developing, and closing new business in a competitive market.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a consultative, value-added sales approach.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment while maintaining high levels of activity.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and technical communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage specifications in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Identify and capture new B2B business opportunities to consistently meet and exceed sales targets within the Dallas territory.
  • Consultative Audits: Conduct comprehensive packaging audits at client sites; collaborate with the internal Design Team to deliver customized structural and display solutions.
  • Strategic Pricing: Determine technical product specifications, prepare accurate quotes, and manage pricing strategies to ensure healthy margins and competitive positioning.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain deep-rooted relationships with key customer contacts, serving as a trusted advisor for their packaging needs.
  • Market Analysis: Compile and analyze customer data to build a robust, high-conversion prospect list and track performance through weekly/monthly activity reports.
  • Client Advocacy: Respond promptly to technical inquiries regarding product availability, credit terms, and specialty manufacturing capabilities.
  • Field Engagement: Maintain high visibility in the market through regular client visits to assess needs and promote cross-selling of additional products and services.
