Requirements

  • Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Packaging Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of proven experience in packaging system planning, development, and lifecycle management.
  • Strong knowledge of total cost of ownership (TCO) principles and packaging process optimization.
  • Excellent communication skills in English to manage internal and external stakeholder relations.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to cost reduction and process improvements.
  • Knowledgeable in Office 365 and SAP
  • Must be legaly authorized to work in the US. (Unable to provide Visa Sponsorship)

Responsibilities

  • Plan packaging systems based on internal and external requirements and secures the implementation by defining respective application rules, TCO (total cost of ownership) validation and packaging process requirements for the steering of packaging systems.
  • Consolidate requirements for packaging systems and develop packaging systems based on those requirements.
  • Operate the Packaging Lifecycle Management, including planning of packaging introduction and packaging cost validation.
  • Validate and prove that packaging systems meet the requirements in terms of technical usability, specific application rules and TCO optimized usage.
  • Define packaging process requirements for the steering of internal/external packaging circles, order management and account management.
  • Provide application rules, specifications and standards for the usage of packaging systems.
  • Monitor and control production packaging requirements, including but not limited to cost, functionality, and allocations.
  • Reduce packaging costs by implementing cost effective packaging and management strategies for production packaging requirements.
  • Support packaging budget and cost reduction initiatives by managing packaging fleet. Manage customer and supplier communications regarding packaging requirements and/or issues.
  • Manage warehouse operations regarding packaging storage, repacking operations, washing operations, replacement and/or repair of returnable packaging, invoice auditing and input into contract requirements.
