Packaging Plant Operator
About The Position

The company values honesty and integrity. The Packaging Plant Operator role involves operating and monitoring packaging line machinery, conveyors, and weighing systems. This position ensures products are filled, sealed, labeled, and palletized according to specifications, performs routine quality checks, and maintains a clean, safe, and organized work area. The operator will also assist with loading/unloading materials, report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards, and perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new equipment and processes.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work well both independently and with a team.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment.
- Experience with Hamer automated packaging/bagging machines.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor packaging line machinery, conveyors, and weighing systems.
- Ensure products are filled, sealed, labeled, and palletized according to specifications.
- Perform routine quality checks to verify weight, packaging integrity, and labeling accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company and OSHA standards.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials or finished goods as needed.
- Report equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or production issues promptly.
- Perform basic maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting of equipment.
