What You’ll Do As a Packaging Operator, you’ll work hands-on with our packaging and baling equipment to keep production running smoothly and safely. Your day-to-day will include: Operating machinery (bagging, baling, shrink wrapping, forklifts, pallet jack, and bag sealer). Stacking, wrapping, and moving finished products to their correct warehouse locations. Completing accurate production reports and quality control tags. Assisting with pellet mill operations and communicating material issues to your shift lead. Performing light troubleshooting, adjustments, and simple maintenance on equipment. Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized workstation. Supporting your team wherever needed to keep production flowing.
Requirements
- Prior manufacturing/production experience a plus (training provided)
- Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read scales, complete reports, and perform simple math
- A strong safety mindset and a team-first attitude
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for 7+ hours, and maintain strong hand/eye/foot coordination
- Must be able to work in a dusty environment and in hot/cold weather
