About The Position

The role of this position is to assist in the management of all activities associated with the filling/packaging of products. Reporting to: Aesthetics Manager Location: Johnson City, TN Onsite Schedule: Mon - Fri, 8:00am to 4:30pm Responsibilities/Essential Duties: Mainsafe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel in following policies and procedures Leads the packaging/filling rooms and coordinate activities of workers engaged in filling and packaging products Evaluate and improve work processes resolving problem areas Ensure product quality through a commitment to SOP adherence and training of packaging employees Assist in staffing the production areas and ensure employees demonstrate a commitment to maximizing efficiency and productivity Reviews batch record entries for accuracy. Reconciles components issued to batch Completes yield and accountability calculations to ensure they are within the acceptable range Responsible for In-Process Filling Checks Responsible for completion of Equipment/Usage and Room Cleaning Logbooks Keep production process flowing smoothly Conform to all cGMP procedures and Standard Operating Procedures Other duties as assigned Basic Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent with 1-2 years’ experience in a manufacturing facility Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with people from all backgrounds Excellent verbal and written communication skills and organizational skills Basic math skills Consistent and punctual attendance. Work Environment & Physical Requirements This position requires extended periods of standing and walking on a manufacturing floor environment. Protective equipment (safety glasses, hearing protection, gowning) must be worn as required. The role operates in a temperature-controlled pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs may be required. Must be available to respond to critical shift issues outside of scheduled hours on an as-needed basis. Requirements
