Requirements

  • Minimum 2 year experiencing in manufacturing
  • Minimum 2 year experience in operating fluid dairy fillers
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Fundamental skills in influencing and persuasion
  • Strong interpersonal skills associated with developing trusting relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Good negotiations skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP
  • Ability to work in a fluid environment
  • Ability to identify problems, draw conclusions, and make recommended solutions
  • Ability to be self-directed with little supervision
  • Ability to adjust schedule to support 24/7 Manufacturing Operation, may include working overtime, graveyard shift and/or weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in required DDS (Daily Direction Setting) meetings.
  • Execute appropriate pass down meeting / Next shift lead
  • Spend at minimum of 80% time on the production floor
  • Perform BBS & BBQ in Monthly basis.
  • Participate in Monthly Safety and QA Meetings.
  • Complete Shift reporting on Smartsheet when supervisor is not present.
  • Organize and manage the Huddle Meeting when supervisor is not present.
  • Validate and send mid-shift and EOS reports when the supervisor is not at the plant.
  • Escalates all issues to the Shift Supervisor and/or Business Unit Leader.
  • Meet with oncoming Lead before shift to perform a GEMBA/safety walk of the plant to identify and correct any issues remaining from off going shift.
  • Assists in unloading shuttles when low on materials.
  • Staging filler and downstream supplies when warehouse lead is unavailable.
  • Gives tours to visitors and new hires when required.
  • Reports/follows up on incidents (safety, quality, equipment, etc.)
  • Assists or coordinating employees for breaks and lunches to keep production running.
  • Train new leads and employees when required.
  • Maintain the Huddle and 2hrs tracking boards updated in timely manner each day.
  • Participate in the 2hrs tracking board and Gap board when required.
  • Understand and follow the production schedule.
  • Ensure all paperwork for the TURNs is followed properly and signed and board updated.
  • Review and verify the CIL’s completion in daily basis and coach the employees when required.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures.
  • Complete required paperwork timely and accurately.
  • Operate equipment safely.
  • Train team members on and help develop CILT and Centerlines for assigned equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on equipment.
  • Cleaning of all equipment using CIP systems, COP tanks and manual cleaning.
  • Operate computer HMI systems needed to run production.
  • Demonstrate safe operation and troubleshooting of the Uniloy Blow Mold machine with associated regrind, trimming, and auxiliary equipment.
  • Demonstrate capability to run Downstream, Palletizer, Bottle warehouse, Fillers, and Blow mold.
  • Uses two-way radio to communicate remotely with other team members.
  • Comply with all quality policies and procedures, including Good Manufacturing Practices
  • Pass and maintain forklift certification.
  • Maintains good housekeeping and cleanliness in work areas.
  • Escalates issues in a timely manner to team members, support personnel and plant leadership.
  • Comply with all regulations, policies, and procedures
  • All other duties as assigned or become evident
