About The Position

The Packaging Electrical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations within the Packaging Electrical department, leading a team of Electrical Installers responsible for wiring, installing, and testing electrical systems on generator packages and enclosures. This role combines technical electrical expertise with leadership responsibility to ensure production goals, safety standards, and quality expectations are consistently achieved.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
3+ years electrical installation experience in manufacturing or industrial environments preferred.
Strong knowledge of low and high voltage electrical systems

Nice To Haves

Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervise and support Electricians to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality installations.
Lead daily production activities to meet scheduling and invoicing goals.
Provide hands-on technical guidance related to electrical installation and troubleshooting.
Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC), OSHA standards, and company safety policies.
Review electrical blueprints, panel layouts, and specifications prior to production.
Coordinate workflow with Packaging, Engineering, Production, and Quality teams.
Communicate daily department updates including production status and improvement opportunities.
Train, coach, and develop team members on electrical processes and safety procedures.
Monitor workmanship quality and ensure installations meet company and customer standards.
Assist in diagnosing electrical issues and implementing corrective actions.
Plan labor and resources to support production schedules and packaging deadlines.
Promote continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
