About The Position

We are searching for an experienced Packaging Clerk at our Redline-Springfield-MO facility.

Dexter is the premier manufacturer and supplier of axles, suspension, brakes, doors, venting products, trailer parts, accessories, and towing components serving the commercial trailer, RV, heavy-duty, marine, agriculture, and manufactured housing markets has an opportunity for a Packaging Clerk at our manufacturing facility located in Sprinigfield, MO.

Requirements

• The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and warehouse/forklift experience.
• Dexter provides on-the-job training including safety training, forklift training and company policy and procedure training.

Responsibilities

• Be able to read and interpret work orders in order to ensure package parts have the correct components.
• Perform various tasks in order to prepare parts for packaging, e.g., attach labels to cards, wrap wires on magnets, etc.
• Box and label parts with the correct components.
• Utilize proper procedures for receiving merchandise and completing of work orders.
• Keep work area in neat and clean condition.
• Follow all Quality Assurance policies.
• Able to meet or exceed hourly production quotas.
• Operate forklift as needed.
