About The Position

Role Summary: This position works primarily in the Packaging Department and is responsible for preparing finished products for shipment. The Packager builds crates and skids, boxes parts, and verifies final products to ensure accuracy, quality, and safe delivery to customers. The role regularly requires working near moving mechanical parts and in a high-noise manufacturing environment, with occasional exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and vibration. The Packager must follow all safety, quality, and company procedures while working efficiently with minimal supervision. This is a 1st shift position: Monday through Friday, 6:00AM to 2:30PM

Requirements

• Experience using tape measure, saws, nail guns.
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• HS Diploma / GED and 3-5 years relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Able to stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Position requires occasional walking; also requires stretching, twisting, manual dexterity, and the ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Vision requirements for this position are close vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
• Able to work overtime as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
