Overview The Packager is responsible for supporting production operations by removing finished parts from racks, inspecting them for quality, and packaging them according to company standards. This role ensures that all products meet quality specifications and are properly prepared for shipment or further processing.

Requirements

• Prior experience in manufacturing, packaging, or quality inspection preferred.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Physical ability to lift up to [insert weight] lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Unracking: Remove finished parts from production racks safely and efficiently.
• Inspect parts during unracking for visible defects or damage.
• Sort and organize unracked parts for packaging or next process step.
• Packaging: Package parts according to work instructions, customer specifications, and safety guidelines.
• Apply labels, tags, or other identification as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized packaging area.
• Operate packaging tools and equipment as needed.
• Quality Inspection: Perform visual inspections to identify defects such as scratches, dents, or coating issues.
• Use basic measuring tools (e.g., calipers, gauges) to verify product dimensions when required.
• Record inspection results and report non-conforming parts to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow quality control procedures and escalate issues as necessary.
