About The Position

The primary function of this position is to process finished products for customer-specified packaging. This involves inspecting products for defects, gathering and applying packaging supplies, printing and assembling labels and boxes, ensuring food safety standards by running products through a metal detector, accurately counting and casing finished goods, and completing work orders to document the processed items. The role is available for both 1st and 2nd shifts.

Requirements

• Well organized and able to apply logic to a variety of situations to solve complex problems
• Records maintenance skills
• Color acuity necessary
• Basic math skills
• Basic reading and writing skills
• Ability to see and distinguish fine differentiation in color, detail, and design

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished products and discard defects
• Gather packaging supplies to package finished goods to match customer-specified orders
• Print labels to match packaged finished goods
• Assemble & label boxes
• Run product through metal detector to ensure food safety standards
• Count finished products to match specified label quantities
• Label and case finished products
• Complete work orders to document processed finished goods
