Requirements

High school Diploma or equivalent.
More than 1 year of relevant manufacturing or production experience.
Able to read and speak English.
Ability to read, follow, and explain the procedures/drawings being used.
Ability to quickly verify serial numbers and apply labeling.
A good understanding of quality control and the ability to recognize defects.
Ability to communicate effectively with supervision and engineering.
Able to understand and complete paperwork correctly.
Participate in continuous improvement activities.
General mechanical aptitude.
Ability to stand or sit while working for extended periods of time.
Must be capable of lifting 20 lbs without issue.
Must be capable of reading small text/numbers quickly.

Responsibilities

POC Meter Packaging: work with a computer and industrial printers to correctly package several different types of products.
Work with barcode scanners, printers, air-pack filling equipment and computers.
Work with Windows applications to scan serial numbers, apply carton and over-pack labels, interpret work orders to set up the Line for packaging, fill out paper work.
Read and follow procedures and drawings for packaging.
Work within group and with management to generate and enact continuous improvement initiatives.
