About The Position
Our client is looking for someone that will be reliable and who is serious about safety. We need employees that can perform manual labor along a production line. Someone who operates and troubleshoots production line machinery. May perform minor repairs as necessary. And efficiently performs tasks while keeping safety and quality first. The only resumes that will be considered or the ones that meet everyone of the requirements that are listed below . Must provide your own Nomex suits for work / steel toed boots Rotating 8 hour shift s : Must be open to days and night shifts . Responsibilities / Job duties : Perform a combination of manual/ and or automated task, like produce, package, store and ship the product. Clean and make minor adjustments to the machinery such as opening or closing valves. Troubleshoot production line machinery Perform equipment change overs Regulate machine flow , speed or temperature Responsible for quality control . Make adjustments as necessary to produce product within specifications . reject product outside of specifications . Weigh finished products verifying and adjusting weight to meet specifications Assemble boxes, replenish packing supplies such as boxes or labels Stack finished products on pallets and wrap with protective material Attach identification labels to finished items , or cut stencils and stencil information on packaging Safely operate within standard operating procedure (SOP) and job safety Analysis Complete paperwork correctly for shipping and production Perform preventive maintenance Communicate with operators form other shifts Clean and maintain work area Perform back up for warehouse Help provide on the job training to new employees And any other duties that may need to be done
Requirements
- Must have experience in productions / shipping and receiving
- High school diploma / GED
- Must have steady work history
- Must lift 55 lbs or more
- Must be able to stand, lift, squat, kneel and bend for long periods of time
- Must be able to handle the work environment
- Must read and write well
- Must follow directions
- Must be able to work independently
- Must have a good mechanical Aptitude
- Must pay close attention to detail and safety
- Must have steady work history
- MUST BE ABLE TO PROVIDE YOUR HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA AND PASS A DRUG TEST
