About The Position

Provides administrative support for the clinical phase of the Physician Assistant Program. This role ensures smooth program functioning, assists faculty and students, and helps maintain compliance with accreditation standards with a specific focus on supporting the administrative needs of PA program. Reports to the Counseling Program Director and works with students, faculty, staff, and vendors. The Agnes Scott College's Cornwall Hawkes PA Program has applied for Provisional Accreditation from the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA). The anticipated matriculation date is October 2026, pending achieving Accreditation-Provisional status at the July 2026 agenda meeting

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum of 3 years recent administrative experience with other employers; experience in higher education or counseling program administration preferred.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism consistent with ARC-PA standards, including the ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
  • Ability to take initiative, function independently, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with diverse students, faculty, and staff at the College and outside the organization.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to use databases, spreadsheets, and forms
  • Knowledge of software platforms used for content design/communication

Responsibilities

  • Assists the Director of Clinical Education in scheduling and onboarding PA students for their Supervised Clinical Practice Experiences (SCPEs) using platforms as directed.
  • Maintains compliance records for faculty and preceptors in eMedley® database, which includes but may not be limited to: Creating a profile/entering contact and employment information. CV/Resume. State Licensure/Board Certification. Documentation and evaluations collected by the clinical team during site visits.
  • Assist the Director of Clinical Education with maintaining documentation of initial and ongoing site visits.
  • Assist the Director of Clinical Education with credentialing of PA students during the clinical phase of the program.
  • Participates in implementing Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs).
  • Attend clinical team meetings as needed and directed by the Director of Clinical Education.
  • Communicate with alumni and assist in collection of alumni data.
  • Help with maintaining eMedley database.
  • Assist with preparations for PA graduation.
