About The Position

Corewell Health Primary Care Practice at 426 Michigan Avenue on the Medical Mile is looking for an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join their busy practice serving patients across the generational spectrum. Family Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants required as we care for patients of all ages. Enjoy a flexible, four (4) day-work week in this dynamic outpatient setting in the heart of the "Medical Mile." Provider and team member collaboration, coordination, and innovation is considered key to the practice's success and the workspace is built to accommodate this. Team-based care is supplemented with social work, behavioral health, pharmacy, care managers, medical assistants working one-to-one with the providers. Large practice population with walk-in clinic, laboratory and radiology on site. Practice is a few short blocks from Butterworth Hospital. Requirements

  • Nurse Practitioner Required
  • Master's Degree
  • Nurse Practitioners who obtained their education and certification after 2000 must show evidence of completion of a master’s, post-master’s or doctorate from a Nurse Practitioner program that is accredited by the Commission on the Collegiate of Nursing Education or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission
  • 3 years of relevant experience current, relevant clinical experience Required
  • Previous experience functioning in a collaborative role Required
  • LIC-Registered Nurse (RN) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
  • LIC-Nurse Practitioner (NP) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days required
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days required
  • CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association 120 Days required
  • CRT-Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required
  • Physician Assistant Required
  • Master's Degree
  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant educational program
  • LIC-Physician Assistant - State of Michigan
  • CRT-Physician Asst Certified (PA-C) - NCCPA National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • CRT-Pediatric Adv Life Support (PALS)
  • CRT-Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
